The story of Trinity Gospel Church began in 1985 when a group of young believers gathered for prayer and Bible study in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. As they committed themselves to meeting together, God graciously blessed them in adding many family and friends to their number, eventually leading to their official worship service in 1988 with support of the Converge network. ​ After renting space for a few years, God provided a permanent home in 1994 to gather in. Through the sacrificial commitment of the members to the mission that God had given, expansions such as classrooms and a basketball court gym were added to accommodate growing outreach ministries. In 2022, God continued to show His gracious faithfulness with the mortgage being fully paid off, and the church continuing to grow more than ever, leading us to officially move out of the sanctuary and into the gym for our Sunday worship services. ​ It has been amazing to see God graciously grow this former Bible study prayer group into a flourishing church of "One Family, Many Homes" in the northwest suburbs of Chicago and beyond, seeking to fulfill the Great Commission of reaching people of all nations with the Good News of Jesus Christ. We thank God and all the people whom He has used over the years to help make this happen. By His grace, we look forward to continue living out the vision He has given us: to exalt Jesus and see lives transformed by Him.
